You two both bring up really good points, but isnt that kinda how all stories are.....
the girl gets "rescued" by some guy and she feels like even though she made it through life without him before she needs him just to breath and all that yadada. But I kinda thinks thats what makes Twilight so appealing. Because don't we all want to fall head over heels in love with someone and them feel the same way back (fairy tale moment there sorry), but I'm not saying it should be to that extent as it is with Bella and Edward. Independence is always good.
